The quote I got for a transmission rebuild was twice as much as what my car was worth. Go figure. I know that they do quality work. If I could afford it. It's where I'd take my vehicle. But not this time. Update: I took Sam from SRT up on his offer to stop by to explore more options for transmission work that my car needed. I dropped the car off, After evaluating the problems that needed to be repaired. I was glad to hear that it was minor leaks that could be fixed without the cost of a rebuild. I would like to thank you again Sam and SRT team for the great work you do and willingness to work with customers.I would definitely recommend SRT.

Our 1988 F250 transmission needed work. It was done fast and Sam was straight about what needed to be done and the cost. The results are like new and the cost was fair. The follow up to make sure I was happy was impressive. He saw and fixed something that was tangential to my transmission issue as well. I have asked his advice on my (LA based) son's transmission problems and he spent a fair amount of time helping us get those issues solved.He has a great company and he is an outstanding person to deal with. Recommend without hesitation.

Our vehicle's starter went out the night before last so I called around and found that Santa Rosa Transmission's estimate for repair was the best.We brought our car in the next morning and by the time we had breakfast a couple blocks away our vehicle was fixed and ready to go.Good price and Fast and Friendly service!

If you read the other reviews on here, you'll notice a common thread -- Sam is as honest as it gets and they do great work.I recommend Sam hands down to anyone in need of auto work. THE PEOPLE AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT ABIET EXPENSIVE. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU ADVISE PEOPLE THAT THE VEHICLE WILL FEEL DIFFRENT AFTER A TRANSMISSION OVERHAUL BECAUSE OF ALL THE NEW PARTS. MY WIFE WAS UNNERVED OVER THIS UNTIL I TOLD HER THAT IT JUST NEEDED TO BE BROKEN IN AND TO WAIT A COUPLE OF WEEKS

We had a transmission problem on our BMW X5 about 200 miles over the warranty. :( We received several quotes and went with SR Transmission. The price was lower than competitors and not only that but he gave us a low and a high price and it ended up being really close to the lower price! It was $2500-$4500 and he could have charged us $4500; we really wouldn't have known otherwise. Honest, honest guy. I highly recommend you check them out.
