SRT Car Care has been so helpful. Our family's cars have been in for everything from regular maintenance/oil changes to a full transmission replacement for our big truck. I love the updates from the service techs and they have a nice big waiting room if it's a short service or will shuttle you to home/work so you don't have to wait. Everyone is super friendly, and I love that it's a local, family owned business.

DO NOT GO HERE! Save yourself! It took me over a year to finally be able to speak about this since I had to involve upper authorities and an investigation took place. Back in July, 2025 my car began to shake uncontrollably. I just knew that it was going to be a spark plug, but at the time I did not have the tools or know how to do it myself. Thanks to the business I’ve taught myself to do as much as I can, so I don’t have to deal with shops like this again. I dropped off my car, my fear and anxiety was palpable. I mentioned that I thought it was the spark plug. The lady behind the desk said that they would run a couple tests to make sure that it was. Took me multiple days and multiple phone calls requesting my approval for an array of “tests.“ After four days without a car, I finally went back to pick it up once I was told the tests were complete and MY ASSUMPTION WAS RIGHT. THE $6 PART TURNED INTO <$2000 WORTH OF TEST AND LABOR. They said they understood my struggle financially speaking and told me not to worry, they offered financing options with a 30-40% APR. I will never forget how horrible and traumatic this experience was for me and I urge anybody who’s reading this to save yourself! There’s plenty of other reputable, fair, honorable and just mechanic shops in our beautiful county! I picked up my friend from this place once, since I trust her with all my heart, I figured that she was going here because it was a reputable shop…boy oh boy was I in for a big surprise! Don’t be surprised too!

Salvador was absolutely exceptional in the way he treated us, walked us through what he was going to do, explained the price of every step, and accommodated our requests to proceed in a sequential series of steps. There was absolutely no evidence of any upselling, Which was a relief. The fact that the company provided photographs of each element of the diagnostic was absolutely incredible and unprecedented in my experience

Both of my brake lights went out, and of course it happened on a day when I already had a busy schedule ahead of me. I called numerous places trying to find someone who could see me the same day, and nobody could fit me in EXCEPT for SRT! From the moment I brought my car in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They made me feel completely comfortable, and most importantly, I was able to leave knowing my car was safe to drive again. I really appreciated them fitting me in on such short notice and making an already stressful situation so much easier. Definitely recommend Santa Rosa Auto Transmission!

Brendan was the one that did a great job and helping me get everything I needed fixed for right now. Amazing check-in service with him I was in and out. Everything was explained easily. I’m definitely coming back here in two months to get more stuff fixed on my car. After I got my car today, it definitely feels a lot better

They were not able to address the problem They then arranged for me to be serviced by your shop You took me without an appointment and resolved the problem promptly. I had a wonderful experience with this auto store. Everyone i intereacted with was very kind courtesy and really went to great legnths to make sure i understood the issues going on with my car. Since i am female it is hard for me to follow on somethings going on amongst it. The salesman that handled my car showed me pictures and explained in detail what was going on . I really liked his method in order to do so. The bussiness is very clean and comfortable waiting on your car if you choose to. The big plus is they have a free shuttle service that will bring you home to wait for car to be done and then pick you back up again to pick it up. I did take advantage of this service as well the shuttle driver was very nice courtesy and a good driver i felt 100% safe in his hands . This is how i like to see more auto bussness ran .

Fast, transparent, and effective

I have two homes one in Santa Rosa and the other is in San Clemente. While up here, my Chevrolet Camero experienced clutch problems. SRT took the car in on Monday diagnosed the problem. My situation was I needed to return to San Clements on Thursday. Branden went to work to put the job on priority and as result I was able to get the car back on Wednesday of the same week. Very happy with the job and my appreciation to everyone who handled this rush job. Any future need of SRT services, I know where to go! Many thanks, 3 cheers.

Nice service and friendly

Great customer service! Salvador explained everything that was done to my truck and took pictures of everything that was done or checked on my truck that was very helpful to visually see and comprehend what they are worked on. Overall very satisfied with the work on my truck. Truck is running smoothly and was glad it was not the transmission as other shops had told me I would need to replace it with a new one.

Great service, knowlegable staff, quick work and no pressure to do more than what was needed. I typically don't like taking care of car issues, but I feel comfortable at SRT.

Took sons Ford Ranger he just bought for first vehicle and these guys were great covering all the critical repair items. Comparable prices to other shops. And staff were great at communicating and following up well after repairs done weeks later. Solid business

Took my 2018 VW Atlas in for a recurring check engine light. They took the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of just guessing, confirmed the thermostat was stuck open, and also found a leaking water pump while everything was apart. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated, and had the car back running like it should. I've used them before for brakes and have had another good experience. I'll definitely be back for future service.

Brought my CRV in. From the moment I stepped foot to leaving SRT. Brandon, front desk and very effective team member for their company; was very direct and helpful with what was relayed and addressed the whole time. Hi, I highly recommend these guy's. I have a chevrolet silverado 1500 and had some issues and they were able to fix them right away and got me back on the road. They recommended I use the budget car rental across the road and I received an amazing deal on a rental from Rene at Budget and didn't need the car rental for as long as I thought it would take for vehicle repairs to be completed. Thank you Brendan and Sal!!! You guys are amazing!!!

We took our truck to SRT because it was overheating. Turns out the water pump failed and caused the head gasket to fail as well. It turned into a big job very quickly. We had an extended warranty from the dealer where we bought the truck. Of course, they didn't want to honor the repairs under the warranty. Brendan from SRT went to bat for us! He handled all the back and forth correspondence, jumping through their hoops, and in the end got them to pay for 80% of the repair costs! We had had multiple vehicles in their care over the passed year and their service has been fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone in need of a car repairs! Thank you!
