What Our Customers Say:

Santa Rosa Transmission & car care

So I had a very long discussion with the owner of Santa Rosa Transmission, Sam. I have to say it went quite well. He was willing to hear my concerns and I listened to reasons he gave regarding the situation. Mistakes do happen and there really isn't any blame on the situation. There was some miscommunication between us all, the front desk, the owner, the mechanic and myself. He was very willing to figure out a way to let me give them a second chance. And being that he is a small business owner in a small community like santa rosa, I am willing to make the attempt, especially after our discussion. I hung up the phone feeling quite good about giving them another chance to prove their worth. I believe that he has what it takes to create a long lasting relationship, which is what i was seeking all along. Sometimes with parts, there are different distributors that might end up costing more than others. So i guess i can't blame him for the price of items and can really only hold him accountable for the quality of the work. I guess it's up to me to explore other options on parts and pricing. I can always choose to not get the work if the quote is too high. I am very thankful that he reached out to me and was open enough to listen to my concerns. I would say this is great customer service which I believe is key to any business. We got off on the wrong foot and hope that I will soon get to see his business' true worth. I would definitely give them another try.

I have a limited window of time to have service on my vehicles. SRT has been accommodating each time. The work is completed when promised. The owner and front desk staff are polite and helpful. Yesterday my son was stranded in our '86 toyota truck yesterday afternoon. Sam was able to get it in straight away and diagnose the problem. The job was complete before noon today. Any further delay would have created a hardship (we live 35 miles from SRT). Thanks for great service. DWA

My car was towed 260+ miles to your shop from Reno Nevada. After just a few minutes of looking at it I was told I needed a transmission. It was fixed and ready to drive in less than 24 hours. Thank you for the fast and great service. I am impressed.

I have taken 2 car/trucks to Santa Rosa Transmission over the past few years and they have always been great. When we have had questions in between they have been very helpful and informative. I would not use anyone else for my transmission work ever. Cost have always been reasonable and I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of in any way.

They stand behind their work. I needed a whole new transmission, and I took it back to them because they had worked on it before. They found another part they should they should have replaced, and fixed it for the cost of the part with no labor. I thought that was terrific.

Santa Rosa Transmission does good work, setting up appointments is easy, and they get the work done when promised. I can 't ask for anything more.

My time is limited on when I can bring my vehicle in for service. Santa Rosa transmission was flexible on when I could bring my vehicle in, and was finished when Sam said it would be finished. The price was fair. The service was very friendly. The owner, Sam, is very knowledgeable. I had intended to do a power flush of my transmission, but Sam explained that this could be damaging to my transmission. The bottom line is, I trust them. May I suggest you do the same?

Simply put, Santa Rosa Transmission is the most professional yet friendly and honest shop around. Sam and the other technicians are incredibly knowledgeable with almost any type of auto repair, not just transmissions. If you live in Santa Rosa and need repair without at least getting a estimate from SRT, well, that's just nuts :)
