Suddenly, my "O/D out" warning light is on, my "service engine soon" light is on, and my automatic transmission won't shift up to third gear. I take it here and agree to pay their $55 inspection fee. The next day, Sam reports that 12 electronic failures are indicated simultaneously, and 4 of the 12 are related to the engine, not the transmission. He told me to take it to my engine mechanic. I couldn't see how my engine mechanic could solve electrical problems if my transmission was out, and I wanted to know what it would cost to get my transmission rebuilt. He refused to give in to me and would not open up the transmission until the electrical issues were resolved. Reluctantly, I took my car to my mechanic. After fiddling with it, he wiggled the connection to the Powertrain Control Module, and - my car was fixed, and the transmission was fine! All the electronic problems were eliminated, and the transmission was shifting like normal! I really appreciate the fact that the guy at Santa Rosa Transmission stood up to me, and held his ground, when his customer was wrong and he was right. That saved me over $3,000 and a lot of aggravation. Thank you Santa Rosa Transmission!!!!
