The engine light on my car came on so I took it to a shop to have it read. The code showed I had a transmission issue. This place recommended that I take it to a transmission shop in Rohnert Park. After they had had my car all day, I was contacted & told that there were actually two codes & they both had to do with my transmission. It needed to be replaced. I like so many others, don't have that kind of money. I was considering getting rid of the car & seeing if I could find a cheap used one. I told my daughter about this issue & she said I should get a second opinion before I took any action. She contacted a friend of hers from work who recommended that I take it to Santa Rosa Transmission as he had had work done there & was very happy. I called & made an appointment. I really didn't expect the news to be any different & it wasn't. What I did not expect was that they would go above & beyond just inspecting my car. They did research & found out that there had been a lawsuit with regards to the Nissan Altima 2016 & that the warranty had been extended. They called Nissan to confirm. I was still under the extended warranty. When I received the call from them that the transmission was shot, they told me about the extended warranty & informed me to give Nissan a call ASAP. I did. Nissan took care of my transmission at no cost to me. I am so thankful that Santa Rosa Transmission went above and beyond what they needed to do.

Shout out to Dameon, he was very understanding and thorough with the entire service. I had issues with picking up car before they closed and they are closed on the weekends so he waited for me. Helped me with my billing and just went over and beyond to help me out. I am definitely coming back to this place for future car maintenance issues. Thank you again to the staff and mechanics for doing all of that within a short notice.

I had excellent service, and they were able to get me in quickly. They kept me updated and had great customer care as well as for my car! The pricing was reasonable and I appreciated that they are a family owned company!

I usually don’t look forward to taking my car in for repairs, but here I don’t worry about getting ripped off. They work in a timely manner, and the tell me ahead of time what has to be done and estimate the cost. They tell me if they find another problem, so I’m not surprised when It’s time to pay. A wonderful consequence of using these folks is that they will get a ride home for me when I’ve brought the car in for service.I highly recommend using these mechanics if you have a problem with your car. I also find that they are very accommodating . And they are friendly and they have a sense of humor.

Always friendly and accommodating service. Allison was so good at keeping me informed of what the service techs discovered as they checked out my braking and suspension systems. She even stayed over a few minutes when my Lyft ride was delayed in traffic.
